Objetives

It deals with the development and characterization, including optical characterization and lifetime prediction, of materials (new and/or improved) and advanced coatings (primary and secondary reflectors, absorbers, receiver covers, particle receivers, etc.) with greater robustness, efficiency, and durability under the operational conditions of CST technologies or their applications. It also addresses the development and testing of cleaning methods to reduce the water consumption of CST plants, and the standardization of suitable methodologies for the optical characterization and lifetime prediction of materials.
