Characterization and Control of Atmospheric Pollution
Contact person: manuel pujadas cordero
Objetives
Its innovative technologies and methodologies are developed for comprehensive and proper characterization of atmospheric species of interest due to their significance as pollutants and their direct or indirect role in climate alteration. This includes the development of devices, instruments, and integrated systems for sampling and measurement, as well as the enhancement of sampling, analysis, and monitoring techniques, the evaluation of new techniques for atmospheric pollution measurement (low-cost sensors, optical remote sensors, satellites, and other platforms), the determination of new relevant parameters in air quality (Black Carbon, particle number, ultrafine particles, organic compound speciation, etc.).
