Objetives

It investigates the hydrochemical facies of a natural environment and its application in related studies such as: the selection, characterization, and exploitation of waste disposal sites; the interaction and durability of materials used; water contamination due to industrial and/or mining discharges; monitoring of karst systems as proxies for climate change; and hydrogeochemical modeling of water-rock interaction processes and mixing processes.
