Objetives
It focuses on enhancing population and environmental protection from the potentially harmful effects of ionizing radiation. It involves the development and application of criteria, methods, and tools for monitoring and assessing the radiological impact and risk due to the presence of natural or artificial radioactive materials in the environment. This is aimed at aiding decision-making in situations of existing exposure and emergency situations involving ionizing radiation.
