Objetives

It contributes to the identification and characterization of molecular mechanisms responsible for the development and spread (metastasis) of tumors. It involves studies focused on the genomic, proteomic, and functional characterization of human tumors and the generation of animal models of such pathologies through genetic modification for comparison with potential human counterparts, validating these generated models as preclinical tools for the evaluation and study of potentially antitumor compounds.
