Radioisotope Production and Radiopharmacy
Contact person: jesus marin muñoz
Objetives
It focuses on the production of radioisotopes, primarily positron emitters, and the production via radionuclide generators, both for diagnostic purposes (68Ge/68Ga and 44Ti/44Sc) and therapeutic purposes (227Ac/227Th/223Ra generator). Additionally, it involves the labeling of various compounds of biological interest (small molecules, peptides, proteins, antibodies, nanoparticles, etc.) with different radioisotopes and the subsequent quality control of the developed probes (radiochemical purity, biological efficacy, etc.).
