It is responsible for carrying out computer science and applied computing activities, with a special emphasis on the computational and energy efficiency of supercomputers and distributed infrastructures, as well as the optimization of codes and the application of artificial intelligence in subjects of interest for CIEMAT (energy, medical physics, biomedical innovation, etc.).
