Objetives

It addresses the study of the effect of neutron irradiation on the microstructure, mechanical properties, and compatibility with the environment of materials used in the nuclear fission energy industry (light water reactors and Gen IV systems) and fusion. This includes the evaluation of structural integrity, the development, and qualification of innovative materials, both structural and liquid metals.
