Materials for Extreme Environments
Contact person: marta serrano garcia
Objetives
It investigates the behavior of materials operating at high temperatures and in aggressive environments (aqueous, gaseous, liquid metals, molten salts) and develops new methodologies for the assessment of bioenergetic processes and the study of materials for technological processes. Additionally, it works on the design and optimization of materials by combining experimental approaches and computational simulation at different scales, from nanostructure-microstructure to the real component.
