The objective of this line is the application of social studies to the research carried out at CIEMAT, primarily focused on energy and the environment. It examines the impact, acceptance, and penetration of current scientific developments in society from various perspectives (social, economic, technical...) and conducts studies on organizational culture and safety. It also includes the study of environmental policies and the legal framework in which they are carried out.
