Quantitative analysis of traces and semi-quantitative of majors in geological materials of a solid sample by X-ray fluorescence (XRF), with sample preparation.

The solid, dry and pulverised sample (at least 10 g) shall be transformed into a trace analysis tablet and a melted glass for analysis of larger constituents.
