How to get to the CIEMAT headquarters (Madrid)?

The Center is located at the far end of the Ciudad Universitaria. To enter you must identify yourself at the entrance. You will be given a guest badge and a map of the facilities.

By car (free parking available):

  • From Moncloa: Arco de Triunfo, Avda. Arco de la Victoria (A6), Plaza de Cardenal Cisneros and Avda. Complutense.
  • From M-30: Sinesio Delgado exit, toward Ciudad Universitaria-CIEMAT.
  • From Barajas airoport. See map.

Public transportation in Madrid. 

  • Bus:
    • Line 82. Stop at the Paraninfo-CIEMAT. This is the best way to get there from Moncloa. The line departure point is at Meléndez Valdés, 72.
    • Lines F (Cuatro Caminos exit), G and U (Moncloa exit) all stop at the Paraninfo-Telecomunicaciones.
  • Metro:
    • From Barajas airport, line 8 (Barajas-Airport). To get from the airport to the CIEMAT, take line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios and then change to line 6, towards Ciudad Universitaria.
    • From Ciudad Universitaria station (line 6). Once you arrive at Ciudad Universitaria station, follow the route to get there.

General Registry

The CIEMAT General Registry is open to the public in person, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments can be requested by email email.
