Mission
CIEMAT´s mission is to generate ans disseminate scientific and technological knowledge in the fields of energy, the environment, an technology. It contributes to sustainable development and improves citizens quality of life by promoting value creation through multidisciplinary scientific and technological research, public-private collaboration, and support for public administrations..
Vision
To be a benchmark in its areas of activity, contributing to the development of applied and multidisciplinary scientific and technical research, as well as fostering the advancement of an industrial sector that bases its production model on science and innovation.
It seeks to expand collaboration with other R&D&I centers, universities, and public and private entities , strengthening its position within the framework of state and european priorities and with the aim of remaining a relevant player and representative of the state´s scientific strategy at the national and international levels.
CIEMAT aims to establish itself as a leading center for the professional development of people motivated to work in science, where its employees feel integrated and find the best opportunities.
